based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe

"Annabel Lee" is the guilty dreams of a young man after the loss of his young wife. In his search for explanation and reason for his loss, his fevered mind pins blame on jealous angels that curse his dreams as he lay sleeping on the only bed where he may find rest.

"Annabel Lee" was filmed on location in Barnegat Light and Glassboro, New Jersey, on 16mm film in association with Rowan University's Cinema Workshop.

It was first screened in September 2003 as an official selection of the Downstream Film Festival in Decatur, Georgia.
